1.Brief introduction

OriFire BSM-10 Ball Speed Measure and Display System can be used to measure the speed value of kinds of ball games in the playing fields, such as tennis, handball, soccer, softball, golf etc. It adopts special playground Doppler radar meter to measure ball speed, and the measured data will be transmitted through a serial data interface to a connected LED screen to show out. So, the system is a good tool for adding the sports interest and improving the athletic performance.

2.Implementation Proposal

After the radar speed meter getting the speed value of the moving object, the value will be transmitted through the serial data port with a certain refresh frequency. Under the control of the display controller or computer, the value will be displayed in the large LED screen which will be according to the requirements of the user to add the funny of the games as well as to improve the athletic level.

3.Features

1. The system works well free from bad climate such as rain, fog etc.

2. The system adopts the advanced 32-bit DSP optimization algorithm, which could measure both the high initial speed and the even speed of a smoothly  flying ball. The measure accuracy is greatly much better than the normal simulation algorithm;

3. The value of the speed could be displayed quickly and accurately;

4. The system is equipped with a movable frame, which will be convenient for measuring in different place;

5. The speed measure unit could be converted between MPH and KPH;

6. The speed values which measured by the radar could be displayed in the LED screen, and these values could also be output to a computer for data analysis in later.
